The PowerSEP® series of automatic magnetic filters represents a cutting-edge innovation by LIVIC,specifically engineered to eliminate ultra-fine iron particles from lithium-ion battery slurries.This design has been awarded patent protection (Patent No.ZL202221795564.5).The proprietary flow-guidance structure is coupled with high-performance permanent magnets to effectively capture ferrous particles within the size range of 0.5 to 100μm.The system is governed by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) for automated operation, ensuring a seamless process of filtration and cleaning without the need for manual intervention. The unit’s hermetic design precludes the necessity for manual cleaning, while an integrated piston-type liquid reservoir minimizes both slurry loss and cleaning fluid consumption during the purge cycles. The PowerSEP® series stands as an exemplary solution for the automated removal of iron contaminants in the production of lithium-ion battery slurries and other high-value industrial fluids, setting a new standard for efficiency and precision in the field.

■ Automated Operation for Seamless Efficiency
The system is designed for total automation, eliminating the need for manual cleaning. Integrated with a state-of-the-art PLC control system, coupled with the magnetic filter’s core, a piston-type liquid reservoir, and self-regulating valves, it autonomously manages a comprehensive cycle of operations. This includes filtering, iron removal, cleaning, draining, and liquid replenishment, ensuring a safe, reliable, and efficient process with no manual oversight required.

■ Optimized Capture Efficiency through Flow Regulation
The innovative design channels slurry into a conical base before it flows through strategically placed guiding tubes. This method substantially decreases the velocity, ensuring that even weakly magnetic impurities are retained. The slowed flow allows for increased interaction between the magnetic particles and the bars, boosting the capture rate by a factor of 2 to 3 times.

■ Advanced Permanent Magnets for Superior Iron Removal
Equipped with an array of high-performance magnetic bars, our filter generates a magnetic field of up to 14,000 Gauss, which is highly resistant to decay. This advanced feature doubles the iron removal and contamination retention capacity compared to standard manual systems, thereby significantly reducing the need for frequent iron removal procedures.

■ Conservation-Minded Design with Reduced Waste and Usage
A forward-thinking approach is evident in our piston-type liquid storage device, which efficiently evacuates the slurry before the cleaning cycle begins. Post-cleaning, the slurry is carefully returned, minimizing waste and conserving cleaning fluids. This design is especially beneficial for industries where minimizing waste from valuable materials is critical.
